I’m a New Yorker that lives in San Diego, CA, travels a bit and heads to Switzerland as often as possible.

I love music, especially reggae, ska, house, trance, electro and anything rhythmic. But I’ve also been known to dive deep into lounge music, classic country, oldies, and salsa when the mood is right. And along the way, I have put together countless compilations to listen what makes me happy and to share my love of music with others.

I’ve been a landscaper, dishwasher, busboy, clam digger, bartender, waiter, grill cook, janitor, gas pump guy, lifeguard, pizza maker, donut baker, office manager, tech support guy, farmer, green market seller, carpenter, real estate agent, prop shop guy, security guy, computer consultant, recording engineer, programmer, project manager, business owner, investor, cyclist and wanderer – and I’m always thinking about what I want to be next.

I’ve traveled with a backpack and flip flops, and a suit and a brief case, but these days it’s just jeans and t-shirt. I’ve been to many places once, and Switzerland more than most, and if you haven’t been there you are missing out on one of the most beautiful countries anywhere.

I still have long list of places I’d like to go, but most of my friends are busy with work and families so they can’t come out and play just yet so I guess some adventures will have to wait…

For Music Lovers (and Bummed Attorneys…)

I hope that at least one or two people enjoy some of what I have to say and share, especially some of the music/mixes I’ll be posting along the way.

So much of what I buy, what I listen to, where I travel to, what I do and what I enjoy has come from friends sharing what they love and it would be great to know that something I post here sends someone else off on a new path of musical, travel, or technical exploration.

That said, there are many that don’t get how letting others know about what you love and how sharing such things leads to bigger things for all of us – so if there’s anything I say or share here that irritates you either let it go or let me know.

If you are an attorney for some mega music emporium and I’ve stepped on your client’s toes, please let me know and I’ll stop spreading the word about their music.

What I’m doing here with music is simply a labor of love – but if it’s not what you’d like see I’d be glad to take down any problem files, stop being an evangelist for your music and musicians and I’ll go back to listening quietly on my own, in my living room, in my car, in the gym and on my bike…
