Just absolutely incredible. To me this is a great example of how there can be great art anywhere, by anybody – and the Net allows so many of us to discover it, and discover them.
This is a also an example of how the old model – markets for artists created by galleries and museums – is fading and artists who would never otherwise have been known become known, possibly making a living and more from their art. Just like with music, perhaps the era of “superstar” artists is over. Instead of a few making a million, there can be a million making a living. More music, more art is a good thing.
